Nathan's 3rd Birthday Party

Friday was Nathan's 3rd birthday so we sent him in to daycare with party hats and home made brownies so that he could have a little celebration there and then when he got home we ordered swiss chalet for dinner and had ice cream cake for dessert.

He just loves his easel.

TJ got this cake from Baskin Robbins.  It had gummy worms on top which Nathan just loved.

Then on Saturday we had a small birthday party for him at my parents house (thanks again Mom & Dad).  We didn't tell him that we were having a birthday party for him because we wanted it to be a surprise so when we got there everyone was hiding in the living room so we told Nathan to go and see if Nana was in there and when he walked around the corner everyone yelled surprise! He was ok for the first 2 seconds, he really didn't know what to think then he started balling.  It was funny..lol..after a couple minutes he relaxed and started to play with everyone.

My Dad made this banner and had it up for when we arrived.  Good job Dad!

I use to sit in this high chair when I was little and my parents kept it and Nathan has almost outgrown it but he still insists on sitting in the high chair at my parents house.  Lovely colour, isn't it? lol  Surprisingly it's still in good condition.

This Weekend

On Saturday Nick, Lisa and Mikayla came over for a visit.  As usual Nathan & Mikki were inseparable. :)

On Sunday John & Cheryl came for a visit and to drop off some firewood for us...thanks again guys!  Nathan and John had a couple of matches of mario kart on the wii then John and Cheryl battled it out.  Cheryl was hooked. lol  TJ, John and Nathan went out to unload the wood and usually Cheryl would go and help but instead she stayed inside to practice her driving skills...she was having too much fun.  So have you decided to get one yet Cheryl? ;) 

Cheryl bought Nathan a bunch of hot wheels track so here's one of the tracks that him and TJ set up.

Introducing Jordan Thomas

He's here!!!

On Monday Feb. 1st at 10:14 am, weighing 6lbs. 14oz. Jordan Thomas came into this world.  We came home on Tuesday and both of us are doing great!  TJ and I are very excited with our newest little addition and big brother Nathan is very excited to have his baby brother here.
