Dragonfly...who's is better?

I noticed this really cool dragonfly just sitting there so I told Cheryl and she goes to grab her camera and steal a perfect blog opportunity so I grabbed mine and told her mine would be better LOL I don't see that she's posted her pic yet but I'm sure she will after she sees this so...who's is better?? ;)

Weekend at the Cottage

We loaded up in the van (Zumi too) and headed up to the cottage for the night. We had so much fun and felt the time was short so we ended up staying 2 nights. It was awesome! We spent the day on Saturday with John & Cheryl. During the day, they went out and got a kayak and paddle boat so the timing was perfect...we couldn't leave now :)
Nathan was the first to try them out.
Here's Nathan watching himself ask for a cracker lol
Here's Cheryl practicing before heading out in the kayak.
For some reason I can't post anymore pictures, I keep getting an error message so this is all for now but I've got more so I'll try again later.

Birdie Update

Here they are..this was actually taken 2 days ago

And this was taken yesterday, 1 has left the nest. It's funny how quick their confidence builds in just 1 day, the one bird looks like he's going to fall out of the nest with where he's standing.

And as of today the nest is empty. Man birds grow up quick!

Here's the latest thing Nathan is doing. Anytime you ask him where something is this is what you get..

My Little birdies

It was brought to my attention that I have something spectacular right outside my front window and I haven't shared them with the rest of you. We have a family of Robin's living under the overhang on our front porch. They've got the perfect spot. Someone before us built this little ledge for a bird to build its nest and in the past 5 years we've lived here, there has only been 1 year that we haven't had a bird nest here and have her babies. So here they are!

Here's Mom sitting close by. She always knew when I was there and as soon as I moved an inch she took off. I was lucky to get the shot I did.

And then I realized I couldn't post about my birdies and not about my indoor animals so here's the gang..

Zumi is almost 4 years old

Indo is about 7 years old

DeeDee is 5 years old

One more I had to include.
Bubbles with Granny...

She's the only person I know that carries bubbles in her purse lol but Nathan sure enjoyed it!
